Butterfly Bush
Buddleja davidii
A vigorous deciduous shrub whose long, tapering flower spikes act as magnets for butterflies and bees through late summer and early autumn. Fast-growing and tolerant of poor, dry soils, it brings a wild generosity to sunny borders and naturalised planting schemes.
