Greater Celandine
Flowering Plants
Greater Celandine
Chelidonium majus
Greater celandine is a willing self-seeder that naturalises gracefully in shaded and semi-shaded borders, producing small, bright yellow four-petalled flowers from spring well into autumn above deeply lobed, glaucous-green foliage. It brings an unstudied wildflower quality to cottage and woodland planting schemes and asks for little in return.
