Astilbe x arendsii

These garden hybrids offer some of the finest summer colour for moist, shaded situations, with feathery plumes ranging from pure white through every shade of pink to deep crimson, rising over handsomely divided and often bronzed foliage. The dried flower heads persist well into autumn, providing extended structure and warm colouring long after the blooms have faded.
